Honestly? We never planned on starting a company.
Our founder, Jan, was just another padel enthusiast in Bali, completely fed up with his racket slipping away at crucial moments. One sweltering afternoon, out of pure desperation, he grabbed his stick deodorant and rubbed it on his racket grip.
It was a ridiculous hack, but it sparked a simple thought: "Why isn't there a real solution for this?"
We quickly realized we weren't alone. Millions of athletes across Southeast Asia were battling the same humidity with sticky, messy products not designed for them. HoldOn was born from that realization.
Our mission is to stop creating temporary fixes and start engineering real, science-backed solutions for tropical athletes. We're a small team—a passionate player who lived the problem and a retail pro who knows how to get it into your hands—based right here in Bali, testing every product ourselves under the sun.
